A little introduction...

Hi!

I’m Melissa and I live in Durban, South Africa with my musician husband and two kiddos.

For 12  years I worked in a very corporate job. 5 years ago, I resigned and started my own small marketing agency which was an incredible experience and total joy. But then COVID-19 happened...

And so as they say, when one door closes...

Which brings me to pottery. Just before my son was born 9 years ago I took some ceramics classes and it was love at first firing. Of course parenting and adulting consumed my time and ceramics took a back seat.

When South Africa began its STRICT lockdown, looking to pass the time, I set up a little studio in my garage and began to play with clay. I am learning and growing and falling deeper in love. This is my passion and fills my cup.
